Pellets made from spruce sawdust
Pabst pellets consist of 100% pure spruce sawdust from our own sawmill. The wood grows in the mountain forests of the Mur, Mürz, Enns and Lavant valleys. This guarantees short transportation distances of less than 100 km and genuine Styrian mountain quality for your heating system at home.
We deliver loose pellets directly to your storage facility in Styria or Carinthia using eight modern silo pump trucks. Blowing in usually only takes one hour. On request, bagged goods (15 kg) can be conveniently delivered by crane truck through the wood market in Kathal.
Yes, they are a prime example of the circular economy in action. The heat required to dry the moist chips comes from our own biomass heating plants. In addition, only as much CO₂ is released during combustion as the tree previously absorbed during its growth in our forests.
