PABST GLULAM
Natural aesthetics meet state-of-the-art production technology.
Competence in glulam

In industrial and visual quality
Glulam from PABST
Our glued laminated timber (glulam) meets the technical requirements of EN 14080. At our Zeltweg site, we manufacture glulam in industrial and visual quality in lengths of up to 36 metres.
PEFC-certified supply chain
Production takes place at our headquarters in the Holzinnovationszentrum Zeltweg. We process sawn timber into high-quality glulam in two specialised plants. Our central location in the Mur Valley and our storage and transport structure enable us to supply timber construction companies throughout Europe.
Visual quality: The components offer a homogeneous appearance for use in visible areas.
Industrial quality: The components are optimized for non-visible applications or in less demanding buildings.
Sawing quality: From component widths of 220 mm, the components are optimized for non-visible applications or in less
demanding objects.
We ensure quality through certification in accordance with EN 14080 and internal controls. Spruce from higher altitudes can have a fine growth ring structure; the appearance is determined by grading and quality class.

High degree of prefabrication
PABST wall and ceiling elements
Thanks to the high degree of prefabrication, our glulam ceiling elements can be installed in the shortest possible time to create bare ceilings that can be walked on immediately. We manufacture precisely at our Zeltweg site and offer high-quality visual quality for modern architectural projects on request.
PABST wall and ceiling elements
Pabst ceiling elements ensure rapid construction progress and can be fully loaded immediately. Thanks to the high dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity of glulam, slender constructions are created. Executed in visual quality, they also create a natural, comfortable room atmosphere with outstanding structural performance.
We produce ceiling elements in thicknesses from 60 to 280 millimetres and widths of up to 1,000 millimetres. With lengths between 6 and 18 metres, even large spans can be bridged efficiently. Each element is manufactured to order in Zeltweg based on the planning data provided.
Installation is dry and precise thanks to a simple tongue and groove plug-in system. As there are no drying times as with concrete, the interior work can start immediately after installation. This optimises logistics and reduces the overall costs of timber construction projects in Styria and beyond.
