In our joinery centres, we process glulam into ready-to-assemble components. Glulam beams with lengths of up to 36 metres and complex timber joints are precisely cut on modern CNC systems. The high degree of prefabrication supports accurate and quick assembly on the construction site.

Hundegger joinery for straight components

On two high-performance Hundegger systems, we produce straight components for halls, roof trusses and modern timber construction with a precise fit. Several specialised units – including 5- and 6-axis milling machines, universal saws and synchronous units – enable precise milling, slotting and processing steps in a single pass.

With the establishment of modern joinery centres, Pabst has developed into a system supplier for timber engineering. The joinery service enables the precise prefabrication of load-bearing timber elements for a wide variety of construction projects. Modern CNC technology, digital planning and high dimensional accuracy ensure that components can be delivered to the construction site ready for assembly.

Pabst’s joinery service enables the precise prefabrication of timber elements for load-bearing structures such as halls, roof trusses or carports. Since the establishment of modern joinery centres in 2008, components have been precisely cut and processed, giving planners and timber construction companies great creative freedom in timber engineering.

Modern CNC systems are available for machining. Special components are manufactured on a CMS-PMT portal machining centre, while straight components are processed on two Hundegger joinery machines (K2i 625 and K2i 1300). This enables precise cutting to size and complex wood joints.

Digital planning based on 3D CAD data produces dimensionally accurate timber elements with a high degree of prefabrication. Components can be up to 36 meters long and are delivered ready for assembly. This saves time on the construction site and enables efficient implementation of modern timber construction projects.
