As if cast from a single mould. The solid timber building material.
Cross-laminated timber is the solid timber building material of the future! Multi-storey residential and public buildings such as schools, municipalities or kindergartens will soon be made from PABST CLT. The forests of the region from whose forests we obtain our raw material lie between 700 and 1,200 metres above sea level, where the trees are slowly growing into the sky.
Cross-laminated timber consists of crosswise laminated lamellas. This close coexistence of the wood layers yields solidity. Production takes place at the Zeltweg plant. Of course, only wood from the region is used – to make sure you can rely on it for many years.

Under the PABST CLT brand, we offer solid timber construction products for modern, ecological timber construction. They are made in our factory in sizes of up to 17 x 0.125m. Fields of application include walls, ceilings as well as roof construction on single and multi-family homes, public buildings such as schools, municipal buildings and kindergartens as well as carports, garden houses all the way to multi-storey residential buildings.
Cutting and joining:
A lot is being prefabricated in our factory and installed in dry wood construction.
Solid timber stores CO2 which makes it a climate-neutral building material.
Low dead weight and high flexibility guarantee maximum robustness.
Our spruce is exclusively harvested in domestic forests and thus PEFC certified.
The wall structure is completely homogeneous and solid.
At Pabst, CLT is cut in a fully automated process. This saves our customers lots of work.
PABST CLT in the walls guarantees a pleasant indoor atmosphere. In the summer and winter.
Since PABST CLT is laminated crosswise, shrinkage & swelling can be neglected.
